See Bernie Baxter in 2024!
Bernie Baxter’s Traveling Sideshow is New Orleans’ oldest haunted attraction and the longest-running free haunt in the city. Since 2005, we’ve been scaring the city into a stupor, and this year will be no exception.
This year, we’re telling the tale of Ivan, a lonely engineer who toiled in solitude. Though a genius with machines, he struggled when it came to humans. He spent long hours in his workshop but had little time for friends or family. As the years flew by, this began to weigh on him. So he hit upon an engineer’s solution: if he couldn’t have friends or family, he’d make them.
However, that idea would lead him down a dark path, turning his workshop into a twisted wonderland of horrors.
So come on by and see Ivan’s workshop. He and his steam-powered “friends” are waiting to say hello. Please, don’t mind the rust.
