Bernie Baxter’s Traveling Sideshow is New Orleans’ oldest haunted attraction and the longest-running free haunt in the city. Since 2005, we’ve been scaring the city into a stupor, and this year will be no exception.

This year, we are telling the story of Donnie’s Docks. It’s the classic tale of a deranged fisherman who makes the discovery that human flesh is the best bait and then starts turning his own customers and friends into chum. But if you don’t want the fish to more than nibble on your toes, you’ll want to have a quick head on your shoulders and keep your feet pointed toward the door.

Because if Donnie doesn’t get you, the wildlife just might…

WHEN

October 23 (Friday) 24 (Saturday), 30 (Friday) and 31 (Saturday, Halloween). Doors open at 7 PM and stay open until 10 PM or until the last visitor leaves.

Please note that trick-or-treating is ONLY available on Halloween night. We encourage visitors to come on one of the other nights if they want to avoid a line.

That said, our yard display is up for all of October, so feel free to drive by after dusk and learn all about some of history’s most famous inventors!

COST

We are a FREE attraction, though we gladly accept donations. You can donate in person at the donation box or online.
